Share Savings Accounts

Credit unions call regular savings accounts Share Accounts. The money you save with us becomes "shares" in your credit union. This means you are a "shareholder" -- an owner. This is what separates us from other financial institutions that are owned by stockholders and as such are in business for profit.

College Credit Union offers several savings products to meet the needs of our members. All pay dividends/interest on a monthly basis. Rates are subject to change at any time by our Board of Directors. It is the policy of the Board of Directors to set rates that provide members with high rates of return consistent with preserving the long-term financial strength of the credit union.

The dividend rates and yields set forth above are accurate as the effective date indicated on this document. If you wish to obtain current rate information, please call the credit union. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is a percentage rate reflecting the total amount of dividends paid on an account based on a dividend rate and the frequency of compounding for a 365-day period. Normally, no notice of intent to withdraw shares is required; however, the Bylaws of College Credit Union of Greeley give the credit union the authority to require notice of up to sixty (60) days for the withdrawal of shares.
